The Road Safety Authority has been showcasing a poor performance in the State for the past several years, A.K. Saseendran, MLA, has said.

“No timely review meetings or road safety initiatives are conducted by the panel, which benefits from crores of government fund every year,” he said in an official communication here on Saturday.

The MLA also alleged that the authority was missing a full-time chairman to steer the activities and it was time to reconstitute the failed mechanism.
