The district chapter of the LIC Employees’ Union, on Sunday, condemned the “indifferent stance” taken by the Union government in the Gaza issue, where hundreds of Palestinians were killed in Israel’s attack.

Leaders of the union alleged that the Union government was remaining silent on the continuing human rights violations in Palestine fearing the clout of Israel.

The union leaders, during their 42nd anniversary meet in the city, also passed a resolution seeking the immediate intervention of the Union government for the Gaza victims.
