The LDF district committee has condemned the violence that broke out in Koduvally in the wake of the death of and IUML activist and demanded stringent action against those who were behind the attack on CPI(M) offices and attempted to publicly humiliate LDF MLAs. The LDF district convener Mukkom Mohammed alleged that IUML workers had let loose the violence even though the death of the activist had been found in post-mortem examination to be on account of a heart attack.

The LDF committee adopted a resolution condemning the incidents.
