KURDFC to disburse Rs.21 crore as loan

The Kerala Urban and Rural Development Finance Corporation (KURDFC) will sanction Rs.21 crore as loan to eight selected local self-government institutions in the State during this fiscal as part of funding various developmental projects.

A major portion of this fund will be utilised by the local bodies for the construction of shopping complexes as revenue-generating fixed assets. The beneficiaries include Nedumangad municipality, Kottappady grama panchayat, Thiruvilwamala grama panchayat, Cherthala municipality, Edakkara grama panchayat, Perambra grama panchayat, Vathikkudi grama panchayat, and Arayankode grama panchayat. — Staff Reporter
