Kozhikode gearing up for CM’s mass contact

Elaborate arrangements have been made here for the Chief Minister’s mass contact programme, Karuthal-2015, to be held at the Malabar Christian College ground here on Monday.

Representatives of nearly 10 voluntary organisations will camp at the venue to help the complainants.

A mock drill will be conducted at the venue at 3 p.m. on Saturday to review preparedness. District-level officers of various government departments will attend the mock drill.

The Students Police Cadets and the volunteers of ‘Swabhiman’ project will camp at the venue to help the participants. A police team led City Police Commissioner P.A. Valsan will be present at the venue.

Special counters will be opened at the venue to provide drinking water and aid participants. Ambulance and stretcher facility too will be available.
