Kaithappoyil accident: four-year-old succumbs to injuries

Mohammed Nihal was undergoing treatment at medical college hospital

KOZHIKODE: The death toll in the Kaithappoyil road accident has gone up to eight with the death of a four-year-old boy, who was undergoing treatment at the Government Medical College Hospital on Tuesday.

The boy’s name was given as Mohammed Nihal. His brother Mohammed Nishal, 8, was among the six people who had died in the accident on Saturday, when an oncoming four-wheeler from Wayanad hit a private bus coming from Kozhikode.

His father, Koduvalli Karuvanpoyil Shajahan, and mother, Haseena, were injured in the accident.
