IISR honours innovative farmers

Three farmers were honoured for developing innovative farming devices at a joint programme of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra of the Indian Institute of Spices Research (IISR) and the Agriculture Technology Management Agency on Tuesday.

While Prakasan Thattari was honoured for his areca-nut-plucking device and Suresh K.C. for his ‘motorcycle pump,’ Saji Mathew was felicitated for developing a low-cost multi-crop smokehouse.
