Heart walk in Kozhikode

The Kerala Heart Care Society, in association with the Kozhikode Municipal Corporation, is organising ‘A Walk for the Heart’ on the occasion of World Heart Day on Sunday.

The walk will begin from Mananchira square at 7 a.m. and conclude at Town Hall. Many contingents including NCC, Scouts, Police, Army, hospital staff, students, and media will take part.

President of Kerala Heart Care Society K.K. Kunhali will be the moderator for the interaction session. Noted doctors such as Murali Vettath, P.K. Ashokan and Dr. Sajeev will be among the panellists.

The society is also organising the World Heart Day Walk in Calicut University in which the Vice Chancellor will take part. It will be followed by a Heart Care Seminar. The theme for World Heart Day this year is ‘One World One Home One Heart’ while the slogan is ‘Take the Road to the Healthy Heart’.
