The United Arab Emirates-based Pravasi Bandhu Welfare Trust has hailed the maiden budget of the Narendra Modi government as a growth-oriented one.

“The Finance Minister touched upon a wide range of issues that will contribute to the growth of Indian economy,” K.V. Shamsudheen, chairman of the trust, said.

He said the Budget had given emphasis to agriculture, education, health care, industrial production, Information Technology, roads, ports, and small airports, apart from skill development.
