A dozen German films, including Fassbinder’s 1973 film Ali: Fear Eats the Soul and Herzog’s Heart of Glass, will be screened at the three-day German film festival beginning here on Saturday.
The festival, organised by the Goethe Zentrum, Thiruvananthapuram and the Aswini Film Society, Kozhikode, will feature some of the best films made in Germany in the recent years. Organisers said the films would give a bird’s eye view of the recent trends in German films and the topics and themes that attract major film-makers.
The festival, being held at Chavara Hall on P.T. Usha Road, is open to all. The show will begin at 10.30 a.m. each day.
