Final electoral list published

23,59,731 voters to exercise their franchise in Kozhikode district

As per the final electoral published by the Chief Electoral Officer, Kozhikode district will have 23,59,731 voters. Of this, 12, 24, 342 are women and 11, 35, 407 men voters.

The last date to enrol in the voters list via online was April 19. The district also has 8,091 service voters. Personnel of the Central security agencies, State police employed outside the State and Central government employees belong to the category of service voters.

Kunnamangalam has the highest number of voters (2,09,391) while Kozhikode South, the least ( 1,48,848). Balussery has the highest number of women voters.

There are 6,913 NRI voters (men: 6630, women: 283) in 13 Assembly segments in the district. The highest number of NRI voters are in Kuttiyadi constituency (2,654) and least in Kunnamangalam (113).

The Balussery segment has the highest number of service voters (1,493) and the least in Kozhikode South (206).
