With rescue activities yielding no hopeful advancement in tracing Air Force plane A.N. 32 that went missing in the Bay of Bengal on Friday, the concerns of two families, which have been hoping for a miraculous comeback of their beloved ones, have been heightened .

On Sunday, people’s representatives and senior politicians, including Minister for Ports Kadannappally Ramachandran, Leader of the Opposition Ramesh Chennithala, former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, and Mullappally Ramachandran, MP, visited the family members of both Vimal Vasudevan, 33, and Sajeev Kumar, 38, who were on board the missing plane.

A close relative of Vimal Vasudevan said the family settled at Kakkodi was yet to get any optimistic message from the defence authorities on the rescue operations even after three days.

“All are upset with the increasing number of visitors to the house and the uncertainly over the rescue activities,” he said.

Situation was same at the house of Sajeev Kumar at Kakkoor. Rajan, father of Sajeev Kumar, said he had lost all hopes over the rescue operations.

Anand Babu, a relative of Sajeev Kumar, said they were still waiting for a call from the defence authorities to know the exact situation.
