Destitute people, orphans, and street dwellers will benefit from Kudumbasree’s ‘Dress Bank’ project, which was inaugurated here on Saturday.

The Dress Bank is an independent project of the Kudumbasree, without any financial support from the government or the Municipal Corporation. Mayor A.K. Premajam inaugurated it in the presence of MLA A. Pradeep Kumar. The first dress kit was handed over to Kudumbasree Project Officer Ramsi Ismail. The Dress Bank is a venture of the Municipal Corporation’s Community Development Society. The project will be implemented with the cooperation of traders, social forums, and garment units.
