Dhanwandhari dialysis project lauded

‘Dhanwandhari’ was established with community support

Chief Secretary Bharath Bhushan, on Sunday, expressed appreciation for the Dhanwandhari dialysis project established with community support at Vadakara District Hospital. It was a model for other government hospitals, Mr. Bhushan, who was on a visit to the hospital on Monday, said.

The Chief Secretary said the facilities at the government hospital in Vadakara were on a par with those in private hospitals.

The dialysis project was set up with Rs.3 crore raised by the public to provide dialysis for renal patients. The Chief Secretary said funds would be made available for completing the construction of a seven-storey building at the hospital.
