Call to restore ship services to Lakshadweep

M.K. Raghavan, MP, has appealed to the Union government to initiate measures to restore ship services between Beypore and Lakshadweep island. In a fax message to Union Minister Nitin Gatkari, Mr. Raghavan said the cancellation of three services had caused immense hardship to students as well as patients in need of emergency medical care to reach the main land.
