BJP campaign against UDF-LDF ‘tie-up’

April 26, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:48 am IST - Kozhikode:

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will undertake a political campaign in the district from April 30 to May 5 against the ‘adjustments politics’ of the Congress-led United Democratic Front and the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) in the State.

Addressing a news conference here on Saturday, BJP State secretary V.V. Rajan said that the party all-India secretary H. Raja would inaugurate the campaign at Muthalakulam Maidan here at 5 p.m. on May 30.

The campaign, to be led by district president P. Reghunath, would tour all grama panchayats in the district.

Statewide

He said the campaign was part of the party’s Statewide programme to highlight the ‘corruption and anti-development policies’ of the UDF government.

The Opposition LDF backed all the misdeeds of the UDF government, Mr. Rajan alleged.
