The Town Police on Thursday got the custody of two persons accused in the murder of P. Bhakthavalsalan, an artist hailing from the city. K.V. Jagadeesh and Roopesh, who earlier surrendered before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-1, were released in police custody for two days.

According to the police, questioning the duo was vital for getting more evidence in the case and to know about the others involved in the murder. Jagadeesh and Roopesh, along with other six persons, murdered the artist, who had been staying in a rented lodge room at Mananchira.
