79.80 per cent voting in Kozhikode

The Kozhikode Lok Sabha constituency has registered 79.80 per cent polling as per the latest figures of the Chief Electoral Officer of Kerala. In the 2009 general elections, the polling percentage was 75.65.

Slight changes have been recorded in the polling percentage in the Assembly segments in the constituency. Elathur had the maximum percentage — 83.46 per cent. It was followed by Kunnamangalam with 83.06 per cent, and Balusseri with 82.38 per cent. Koduvally registered 77.82 per cent polling, and Beypore 77.39 per cent. Kozhikode North and South saw 76.56 per cent and 75.97 per cent polling, respectively.
