12-hour tribute to Kishore Kumar in Kozhikode

The music-lovers of Kozhikode are paying a rare tribute to singer Kishore Kumar as part of celebrating hundred years of Indian cinema. At the 12-hour ‘Gaata Rahe,’ to be held at the Town Hall on Thursday, singer Saleesh Shyam plans to sing 100 songs of Kishore Kumar.

A separate orchestra will accompany the singer for every 25 songs. The programme is being organised by Musician’s Welfare Association.
