We also want to use this opportunity to meet prominent Non-Resident Keralites (NRKs) to talk to them about opportunities the State offers to potential investors,” said Mr. Ajith Kumar, who is also CAFIT president.

Beneficial event

He said Gitex has been one of the most beneficial events for home-grown small companies to grow and flourish. These companies have been able to enter the Middle East market through GITEX. “ Kerala IT will showcase various investment opportunities in the IT sector in Kerala. The State is truly capitalising on its geographical attributes and transforming itself into a prominent IT destination in the country through focussed initiatives in IT infrastructure development, human resource development and citizen e-enablement,” he said.

This year, in addition to IT parks, the State is planning to showcase the SME companies that are developing state-of-the-art innovative products and services in various verticals like banking, insurance, travel and healthcare sector.
