A city court here on Saturday rejected the bail petition of All India Trinamool Congress MP Srinjoy Bose and remanded him to judicial custody till December 5.

Mr. Bose was arrested by the CBI on November 21 for alleged financial transactions with scam-tainted Saradha Group managing director Sudipta Sen. Mr. Bose is the second AITC MP to be arrested in connection with the multicrore Ponzi Saradha scam.

CBI lawyer Partha Sarathi Dutta said that the CBI appealed for judicial custody of Mr Bose to which the Court agreed. This is the second time that Mr. Bose’s bail plea was rejected.
