Madrasa-bound children sent back to Bihar

The Kolkata Child Welfare Committee (CWC), which had put up in protection homes the 63 children intercepted at the Sealdah railway station earlier this week, has sent them back to Bihar from where they hailed.

“We have sent the children to the Child Welfare Committee of Purnea district in Bihar. The children, along with police personnel, boarded a train late on Monday evening,” Asokendu Sengupta, State Commission for Protection of Child Rights chief , said.
