The 12th regional edition of The Hindu Young World Quiz will be held on October 17 at Kamaraj Arangam from 9.30 a.m.
Over 200 schools, with nearly 800 teams would be participating, where quiz master V.V. Ramanan will take them through a series of rounds. Music Director Devi Sri Prasad is the chief guest and will give away the prizes.
Velammal Educational Trust is the title sponsor. Extramarks and Indian Overseas Bank is the Associate sponsor of this year's quiz. National sponsors include Black Thunder, Gold Winner, Amway, Firefox, Reynolds, Funfills, Success and Cricket Caricatures. Tata Nano is the car sponsor and Real the beverage sponsor.
