VCK extends support for ‘black day’

Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi leader Thol. Thirumavalavan on Thursday welcomed the move of 18 opposition parties, including the Congress, to observe November 8, the first anniversary of the Union government’s announcement of demonetisation, as a ‘black day’ and extended his party’s support to it.

In a statement, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should apologise to the people of the country for the move which affected many people.
