An upgraded 250 kv transformer was dedicated in Chitlapakkam on Sunday last by Animal Husbandry Minister and Tambaram MLA T.K.M. Chinnayya. The 100 kv transformer was upgraded following a request from residents and office-bearers of Sri Sarvamangala Nagar Residents Association.

R. Mohan and N.C. Krishnan, Chairman of Chitlapakkam Town Panchayat and St. Thomas Mount Panchayat Union respectively, were present. M. Ravi, secretary of the association, welcomed the gathering.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Chinnayya said that the number of share autorickshaws currently operated in Chitlapakkam will be increased. M.R. Subramaniam, executive committee member of the association, thanked the gathering.
