Uninterrupted power supply for elections till Thursday

In order to ensure uninterrupted power supply till Thursday owing to the Assembly election, the following officials of the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation have been appointed as nodal officers.

A release said the government officials on election duty and residents can contact the officials in the event of power failure and related requirements. The officials are B.V.Jagdeesh, Executive Engineer (CEDC/North) - 9445850889 for areas in and around Tondiarpet, Vyasarpadi, Perambur and Ponneri; R.Karthikeyan EE (CEDC/Central) - 9445850727 for localities in and around T.Nagar, Egmore, Anna Salai and Mylapore; N.Kannan EE (CEDC/West) - 9445850400 for places in and around Avadi, Anna Nagar and Ambattur; and C.K.Chelliah EE (CEDC/South) - 9445850227 for areas in and around I.T.Corridor, K.K.Nagar, Adyar, Guindy, Tambaram and Porur.

For transmission lines in Chennai, Ambattur and Korattur, Ramachandran EE/Operation, Korattur, can be contacted on 9445850404.

Residents of Chengalpattu, Maraimalai Nagar, Maduranthakam, Acharapakkam and Sriperumbudur can contact K.Muthu, EE/CEDC Chengalpattu at 9445850200.

For transmission lines in Chengalpattu, Maraimalai Nagar, Maduranthakam, Jeyapal EE/Operation, Singaperumal Koil can be contacted on 9445850470. S.Venkatachalam, EE/Control Centre can be contacted at 9445850802 for complaints regarding power failure.
