Two PSBBM students ace quiz contest

Over 500 students participated in 18th edition of The Hindu Young World Quiz

Shantanu Sudarshan and Shravan Balaji, Class VIII students of PSBB Millennium School, Gerugambakkam, walked away with the awards in the Chennai regional finals of The Hindu Young World quiz in the senior category on Saturday.

Magizhan Natarajan and Vishnu Muthiah, of Class VI, in PSBB Millennium School, OMR, won in the junior category.

Conducted by V.V. Ramanan, the quiz had over 550 participants.

The senior category saw 166 teams competing to get into the finals. Teams from PSBB Senior Secondary School, T. Nagar and Petit Seminaire Higher Secondary School, Puducherry came second and third respectively.

In the junior category, there were 112 teams in the preliminary round, and six of them made it to the finals. A team from Head Start Learning Centre came second, and the PSBB Senior Secondary School team, third. The quiz was Powered by Eveready.
