The city police on Wednesday ascertained the identities of two more bank robbery suspects, who were killed in a recent encounter at a Velachery apartment.

One of them was wanted by the Bihar police in connection with the murder of the head of a math, the police said.

Police said one of the voter identity cards seized bearing the name, Harish Kumar, belonged to one of the men gunned down by the police in the early hours of Thursday. Teams sent to Bihar for a probe after the encounter established the real identity of Harish as Rajiv Kumar of Milkipur village in Nalanda district. Another body identified was that of Vinay Prasad, who also hailed from Bihar.
