Triplicane school win Standard Judging competition

The Scouts and Guides of The Hindu Senior Secondary School, Triplicane, participated in the State-level Standard Judging Competition, conducted by Bharat Scouts and Guides, held at the State headquarters, Wenlock Park.

The students were evaluated on general efficiency, pioneering, first-aid, campcraft, and estimation. The guides (seniors) of the school bagged many prizes in general efficiency, pioneering, first-aid, campcraft, and estimation won the overall shield. The school secured the first place in B.P.’s Six Exercise.

The school has been qualified for the national-level S.J. Competition. The meritorious guides were P. Kamakshi, R. Aishwarya, B. Aishwarya, D. Manasa, P.R. Jayalakshmi, G.J. Bhairavi, R. Ranjani and S. Swetha in the senior category and A.V. VishnuPriya, Soundarya Devi, B.C. Sandhya, N. Shruthi, S. Sivanandhini, Ishwarya Janani, Afrin and Vindhya in the junior category.

Harish Mehta, State Chief Commissioner, and Rajendran, State Secretary, Bharat Scouts and Guides, gave away the prizes to the winners. Ramathayammal, State organising commissioner, Guides, coordinated the programme.
