Three men on a motorcycle snatched a cellphone from a 34-year-old man while he was walking in Korukkupet before speeding away,
When they snatched his phone, the complainant Sathish kumar, who works as a salesman at a shop on Mount Road, raised an alarm. Passersby tried to stop the trio, but in vain.
After he filed a complaint, the Korukkupet police officers recovered an abandoned motorcycle a few kilometres away. “We are not sure if the motorcycle belonged to the men. We are still investigating,” said an officer.
