Following heavy rain across the city from Thursday evening, many roads were waterlogged and traffic had come to a standstill.

If you're planning to travel in and around the city, here's what you need to know.

Roads:

Waterlogging has been reported in areas like LB Road, Taramani Link Road, Velacherry.

Gengu Reddy subway has been closed.

Trains:

-No major disruption in train services:

Except for minor delays, there is no major disruption in train services in the city. The section between Kodambakkam and St.  Thomas Mount was affected by signalling problems from 9.30 pm Thursday night. The problem was set right and the section restored at 03.20 today morning.

Due to heavy rains Tambaram and Egmore yards flooded.

Suburban Service is pretty regular.
