Traffic diversions on Rajiv Gandhi Salai

They will come into effect tomorrow

The city traffic police have made new arrangements in view of the heavy traffic between the Tidel Park signal junction and SRP Tools junction on Rajiv Gandhi Salai.

The following traffic modifications will be implemented on a trial basis from July 28.

As per the new arrangement, the service road in front of Tidel Park, which is a two-way stretch, will be converted into a one-way towards Madhya Kailash. Vehicles coming from Tidel park, Elnet and Ramanujam IT Park will proceed on the service road and can take a U-turn at Madhya Kailash to their destination.

Similarly, the right turn at Ascendas junction has been removed and vehicles coming from CSIR Road, intending to go to SRP Tools, will be allowed to ply on Rajiv Gandhi Salai towards Tidel Park signal to take a U-turn towards their destinations.

Vehicles coming from the Tidel Park signal and intending to go to CSIR Road will ply on Rajiv Gandhi Salai towards SRP Tools and take a U-turn to reach Ascendas.
