There will be some modifications in the vehicular traffic movement on Kamarajar Salai on January 18, 22 and 23 from 6 a.m. onwards in view of the rehearsal for the Republic Day programme.
Police said that the stretch of Kamarajar Salai from Light House up to War Memorial will be closed from 6 a.m. till the rehearsal is completed. The stretch of Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai from Natesan Road Junction up to Gandhi Statue will be closed. Vehicles coming from North Chennai and intending to proceed towards Mylapore and Adyar will take Anna Salai, Pattulos Road, Royapettah Tower Clock, Royapettah Point, Royapettah flyover and R.K.Mutt Road. Vehicles coming from South Chennai will take the same route in reverse direction.
