In view of The Wipro Chennai Marathon 2014 to be held on Sunday, the traffic police have made route diversions between Rajiv Gandhi Salai and Rajaji Salai. The modified arrangements will be in place from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The stretch from CPT to Tidel Park on Rajiv Gandhi Salai will be closed.
Vehicles coming from Rajiv Gandhi Salai, towards Tidel Park, will be diverted at the new bridge at Thiruvanmiyur junction, via L.B. Road.
Similarly, vehicles coming on Sardar Patel Road and going towards Rajiv Gandhi Salai will be diverted at Adyar junction via L.B. Road and Thiruvanmiyur junction.
Vehicles coming on Rajaji Salai and bound for Adyar will be diverted at Parry’s Corner via N.S.C. Bose Road, E.V.R. Periyar Salai, Anna Salai, Royapettah High Road, Luz and Mandaveli Road to reach Adyar. Vehicular traffic will be barred on Sivananda Salai.
