Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosaiah on Sunday handed over prizes to winners in the various competitions organised by Murthuzaviya Educational and Cultural Foundation of South India.

He was taking part in the valedictory function of the All India Competition in Oriental Studies. Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, prince of Arcot, released a souvenir on the occasion.

S.K. Khadri, founder president of the foundation, and Justice K.M. Basha, chairman, Intellectural Properties Appellate Board, presided.
