Three persons were injured when a State Express Transport Corporation (SETC) bus rammed a private building in Kottivakkam on East Coast Road here early on Friday.

According to police sources, the bus coming from Nagapattinam to Chennai crashed into the building located close to the carriageway around 5.30 a.m.

The bus driver, Balaji (45), conductor Sabarirajan (48) and a passenger John (28) suffered minor injuries. Around 60 passengers in the bus escaped unhurt.

There was no disruption of road traffic as the bus that suffered a major damage was removed from the scene in a couple of hours, the sources added.
