Three hospitalised with A(H1N1) symptoms

Three residents of Chennai, from Thiruvanmiyur, Anna Nagar and Port Trust areas, suspected to be infected with the A(H1N1) virus have been admitted in two city hospitals.

While two persons, including a woman, have been admitted at the special wards in the Government General Hospital, the other is now in the Communicable Diseases Hospital, Tondiarpet.

The woman has a history of travel within the country, but two others showed symptoms without any recent travel. The nasal and throat swabs have been sent to the labs for testing and results are expected on Tuesday.
