The Mylapore police on Thursday arrested three persons who allegedly hacked a 24-year-old man to death in Luz Corner, Mylapore, in full public view on Wednesday afternoon.

The weapons used as well as a motorcycle were seized from the suspects.

The police identified the key suspect as Vellai Kumar (40), of Valluvar Thulasingam Street, Mylapore, who planned and executed the killing of Tamilchelvan, a driver and a resident of Madhavarao Nagar in Mylapore.
