Six young women of Thailand, who were brought here on contract to render body massage services to customers in a couple of star hotels, have alleged that their employers were trying to force them into flesh trade.

According to police sources, the women, in a petition submitted to Additional Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Sanjay Arora, said their employers Ravindran, Immanuel and Ramesh as part of the contract conditions had assured them that there would not be any sexual harassment either by them or the customers.

“We came here for this employment as professionals. Now purposely they [the accused] are compelling us to get involved in sex trade in order to earn more money… we opposed and refused to accept such illegal activity. The three persons are threatening us, saying that they will not pay the agreed salary. They are threatening that we may have to face dire consequences if we tell this to anybody,” the victims said in their petition.

Mr. Arora said an investigation had been ordered into the complaint. “We will enquire with the accused persons on the allegations against them and take appropriate action,” he said.
