Balajothi Technical Institute, Thiruvanmiyur, will begin tailoring classes for the next batch. Short-term courses are offered on salwar kameez and blouses; advanced designing courses include different neck patterns and western outfits for women.
Besides, the programme includes katori blouse, princess cut, chudidar , kurtis , anarkali , and patiala. A course on hand-embroidery is offered as well. Classes are conducted in the morning between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and between 4.30 p.m. and 6.30p.m.
The institution provides readymade paper patterns, in required sizes, for blouses, upon order.
