Swathi murder case: police issue contact numbers

A special team, comprising eight inspectors, an assistant commissioner and a deputy commissioner, has been formed to nab the culprit.

In the aftermath of the killing of 24-year-old software engineer S. Swathi at the Nungambakkam railway station in Chennai on Friday last, senior police officers have requested people to not spread rumours about the murder on social media. Police also requested people to share any mobile phone recording or photos of the suspect taken at the time of the crime.

A special team, comprising eight inspectors, an assistant commissioner and a deputy commissioner has been formed to nab the culprit.
