Student Reporter Programme

The website for the kids of Chennai — www.yocee.in — has launched its free annual Student Reporter Programme for the sixth year. Students studying in Classes VI to XII in Chennai city are eligible to apply for the year-long Student Reporter Programme. The website will be selecting 25 reporters for the academic year.

The selected reporters will be set on the field after a briefing session. They will get opportunities to report events from their school campus and from their residential locality, interview authors / storytellers / artists and kids who have excelled in extra curricular activities. They will also get to visit exciting workshops, reading sessions and write book reviews. The reports filed by the Student Reporters will be published on www.yocee.in with their bylines and receive a certificate at the end of the year.

Periodic sessions for enhancing their writing and reporting skills will be held throughout the year. Last date to apply for the programme is May 19.
