Stone laid for integrated employment office

The foundation stone for an integrated employment office in Guindy was laid by Labour Minister T.M. Anbarasan recently.

According to a release, the State government has sanctioned Rs.92 lakh for construction of the first phase of the integrated employment office building.

Traffic congestion

The decision to construct the office building has been taken on account of the traffic congestion on Santhome High Road, where the employment offices are located.

Principal Secretary, Labour and Employment Department, T Prabhakara Rao, Commissioner of Employment and Training A.S. Jeevarathinam and Mayor M.Subramanian participated in the foundation stone laying function.
