Aamir Khan and Mohanlal were seen trying Zumba at the after-party post the inauguration of the Chennai International Film Festival on Thursday.
“We are all going to be doing Zumba by the beach in Besant Nagar on Sunday at 6.30 in the morning to promote the Chennai International Film Festival,” says Suhasini Maniratnam, who heads the team of celebrity volunteers from the film industry.
A set will be put up near the Schmidt Memorial and the celebrities will be performing Zumba choreographed by Senthil, near the monument for about an hour and a half.
“Zumba is a fitness dance and we thought this would be a fun thing for us to do early in the morning,” says Suhasini.
“Each of us from different fields will do Zumba in our own way and we have all been rehearsing. We taught Aamir Khan and Mohanlal last night at the after-party,” she adds.
The celebrities who will perform include Suhasini, Anita Ratnam, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, VJ Ramya Subramaniam, actor Ashok Kumar and actors Maanu and Abhirami.
