To help deal with the rush during summer, Southern Railway will be running weekly special AC trains between Howrah and Chennai.
Train 02841 from Howrah to Chennai Central will leave Howrah at 12.40 p.m. on Tuesdays from April 28 to June 30 and reach Chennai Central at 2.50 p.m. on Wednesday.
The return train 02842 from Chennai Central will leave at 5.10 p.m. on Wednesdays from April 29 to July 1. It will reach Howrah at 6.30 p.m. on Thursday.
The trains will have three AC two-tier coaches and eight AC three-tier coaches and will stop at Kharagpur, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Vishakapatnam and Vijayawada. Reservations start on April 24.
