Special trains announced to Tirunelveli, Howrah and Ernakulam

Southern Railway has announced four special trains to clear the extra rush of passenger traffic during this summer season. The special trains carrying special fares would be operated to Tirunelveli, Ernakulam and Howrah.

The special train from Chennai Egmore to Tirunelveli bearing train no.6003 would be operated on June 3 and 10.

The train would leave Chennai Egmore at 9 p.m. and reach Tirunelveli the next day at 10.45 a.m.

Similarly, the train from Tirunelveli to Chennai Egmore would be operated on June 5 and 12, leaving the station at 2.45 p.m. and arriving at Chennai Egmore at 4.15 a.m. the next day.

A superfast train between Chennai Central and Ernakulam Junction would be operated on June 3 and 10 with the return trains scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on June 5 and 12.

Also, an air-conditioned special train from Chennai Central to Howrah on June 5 would leave at 5.10 p.m. and reach the destination the next day at 6.30 p.m.
