Software professional found dead in Chennai

S. Vijaykumar (24), a software professional, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his home in Chitlapakkam on Tuesday evening.

Chitlapakkam police said the victim's hands and feet were tied up, while his mouth was gagged. He was found dead when his younger brother returned home. Vijaykumar was working the night shift at his company on Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai and was at home during the day. Although a laptop and a mobile phone belonging to the victim were missing, police ruled out the possibility of murder for gain. The police added that special teams were investigating.
