Sewage blocks likely in in Nanganallur, Adambakkam on August 22

Some areas in Nanganallur and Adambakkam may face sewage obstructions on Monday as Chennai Metrowater proposes to take up interconnection work of sewer pipelines in these areas.

According to a press release, the interconnection of the existing pipelines with the newly laid ones will be carried out in the Nilamangai Nagar sewage pumping station from 7 p.m. on Monday to 7 a.m. on Tuesday. During this period, these pumping stations will be shut down to facilitate work.
