Following protest, security around Rajinikanth's house tightened

Pro-Tamil outfit conducts an agitation in front of his house opposing his entry into politics​.

Security has been tightened around actor Rajinikanth's house at Poes Garden in Chennai after a pro-Tamil outfit on Monday organised an agitation opposing his entry into politics​.

Tamizhar Munnetra Padai, headed by K. Veeralakshmi, staged the protest near the actor's residence by burning an effigy of his and shouting slogans against him.

Over 25 protesters were arrested and detained under preventive custody.
