Search for MTC bus conductor continues

March 02, 2014 09:19 am | Updated May 19, 2016 05:44 am IST - CHENNAI:

Similar to the method followed by the police to identify criminals, the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) is conducting an identification parade to zero in on the conductor who did not attend to the passenger whose fingers got crushed when the bus door shut on them accidentally, two days ago.

R. Sreedher, a former director of All India Radio, Bhopal, sustained fractures in the accident that took place in Kotturpuram, aboard a 21G bus.

“MTC officials lined up some conductors for me to identify but the one who was present in the bus the other day was not among them,” he said. Some union members had met with him and apologised on behalf of their colleague, said Mr. Sreedher.
